Ministries

Spirituality (spir' it u al' i ty), n: a life informed and infused by spirit.
Christian Spirituality: a life informed and infused by the Holy Spirit. True Christian spirituality is based upon the extent to which a born-again believer allows the Holy Spirit to lead and control his or her life.
Ministry (min' is try), n: the act of serving, giving away however much or little we have of God. Ministry is where we become Jesus' hands and feet to serve others. It is the active part of Christian Spirituality.

We have many ministries at the Church of Tollhouse Ministry Center for you to participate in, serve in, or to use the services of, however the Holy Spirit leads you.

Audio-Visual Ministry

The Audio-Visual Ministry is dedicated to the listening and visual pleasure of the worship of the congregation. It is our purpose to make the worship experience pleasant and enjoyable so worshipers can have that intimate experience with God that comes when they are free to be in His presence.

Because Kids Matter to God

The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.  AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs, and training for students ages 2 through high school. Our goal is to equip churches to reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Benevolence Ministry

The Benevolence Ministry, lead by Dewayne and Katherine Frazier, consists of help providing food to families in need, in addition to financial, emotional, and spiritual help for those in need of temporary or periodic assistance. The Benevolence Ministry runs entirely on the principle found in Galatians 6:10..."Do good to all, expecially to those who are of the household of faith."

Children's Ministry

The Church of Tollhouse offers a comprehensive Sunday School Program, a mid-week AWANA club, as well as additional outreach and fellowship opportunities. The Sunday School curriculum is designed to cover the entire Bible every 3 years. We seek not only to provide an age appropriate, in-depth education of biblical facts, but also to have the children experience biblical truth. This includes: personal salvation, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, sincere love of God, godly wisdom, ethical righteousness, personal peace, freedom from bad habits, right relationships, spiritual discipline, and service to God and others. We want our children to know how to live a godly life in an ungodly society as well as to take their place in the Christian community. Through our ministry we seek to teach them to love God, to pray, to witness, to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and to lead lives which will make them successful in school and ultimately in their marriages and chosen work.

Missions

We seek to facilitate a loving, vibrant ministry of sharing God's blessings with the nations -- one that abundantly sustains present international partnerships and lavishes love on cross-cultural workers through prayer, monetary support, relationship building, and provision for other spiritual, physical, and emotional needs; develops avenues to serve our foothill communities; seeks new ways to extend God's love as our Father leads; and effectively coordinates with other churches and organizations to accomplish these assignments.

Small Groups

Small groups are a pivotal part of life at the Church of Tollhouse Ministry Center. Our goal is for everyone who is a part of the Church of Tollhouse family to be connected with a group. There are several reasons for this, but paramount is the fact that we are better together. We were not made to try to live the Christian life as a "Lone Ranger." We really do need each other for support, encouragement, accountability, prayer, ministry, and fellowship.

So the question of the day is this: Where are you connected? Do you have a group that you are a part of on a regular basis? Check out our small groups to find a group that you would like to be a part of.

Usher/Host Ministry

Dependent on Him, the whole body -- its various parts closely fitting and firmly adhering to one another -- grows by the aid of every contributory link, with power proportioned to the need of each individual part, so as to build itself up in a spirit of love. Ephesians 4:16   (Weymouth New Testament)

The church is “a kingdom of priests” (1 Peter 2:9). Christ calls every Christian believer into ministry and they are gifted for this by the Holy Spirit.  An usher is gifted with a ministry of hospitality and caring in the church.

Youth Ministry
2 event listings

The vision of our Youth Ministry is to sow the Word of God into the lives of teenage kids in fun and relevant ways, as well as stretching our young adults to prepare them for the everyday challenges of walking in the light. Our goal is to challenge them to move deeper in their faith and “keep it moving”, develop Godly relationships and a well-needed support system, and help them apply Biblical principles to teenage issues. Our youth group is open to all Jr. High and High School students.
